Thanks to Uncle Byron and Aunt Autumn for watching Miss Cassie on Friday so Mommy & Daddy could go out with friends and enjoy a wonderful night out. Cassie adores them, and from what I hear, she was on her best behavior ; )

Mommy is another year older ... boo!!
Mommy has one more year under her belt, and it is amazing how the past year has flown by. It was the best one yet, now that Cassie is in our life. I enjoyed the weekend spending time with family & friends, which is always so fun. For Mother's Day, I bought my Mom Michael Buble tickets, and he happened to come to town on Friday. My Mom, her best friend and I went to Vic & Anthony's before the concert (yummy)!! We then headed over to the Toyota Center ... and I could not figure out what all the giggling between the two of them was about (especially when we were going through the security line). Then ... the concert starts, and out pops three thongs they bought to throw at Michael!! Oh my ... crazy women ; )

So ... we decided to take a Babymoon to Vegas, and Wade and I had a blast!! It was great to enjoy delicious food at nice restaurants and layout by the pool. We stayed at the Encore-Wynn, and it was phenomenal. The crowd was super trendy and beautiful ... and I do not think that my almost 6 month old belly fit in ; ) After a couple of nights dining at Cut (Wolfgang Puck's amazing steakhouse) and Tao, and then seeing The Blue Man Group (not our favorite, but to each their own) and Le Reve (the best show I have ever seen) ... we were ready to return home to sweet cheeks Cassie. Sadly ... she did not miss us as much as we missed her. She grew very attached to Mimi!! We do not have many pictures, b/c Wade thinks is looks dorky to carry around a camera at Vegas (silly boy). Thank you SO much Mimi for watching Cassie, she is very blessed to have such a wonderful Grandma.

We celebrated Mimi's birthday recently, and Cassie had a great time at Ragin Cajun ... yummy!!!

Swim lessons
Cassie started swim lessons at the beginning of June, and she is having a blast. I must say, after each lesson, she is absolutely pooped out. It is a great bonding experience for both Wade and I to be in the water with her. Plus, one of her StrollerFit buds is in her class as well. It is amazing to see how much she has already learned. We continue class each week through the end of August.

Miss Lacie Kate
We got to peek at our Lacie Kate on June 30th, and she received a great bill of health. Thank you God!!!! Her profile almost exactly matches Cassie's ultra sound picture from the same time period. Lacie's furniture arrived last weekend ... so now I just need to pick out her bedding, and then we can start decorating.
